Curious About CBD Edibles? Here’s Everything You Need to Know

With CBD more popular than ever – purchases doubled in 2019 – it’s no surprise more and more products are coming on the market. Of course, each product has its own set of benefits.

CBD skincare products, for example, have been known to help with anti-ageing due in part to the oils anti-oxidant properties, CBD products like soft gels and Epsom salts are used by athletes for pain relief, and more traditional products like oils and flower buds are popular amongst ‘everyday’ people in alleviating stress, anxiety and insomnia.

But what about CBD edibles?

They pack in all of the benefits of CBD and taste great. Win-win! If you’re curious about CBD edibles in the UK but want a bit more information about the different types, what you can expect, and where to buy them, keep reading!

What are the different types of CBD edibles?

Before we get started, we just want to point out that like all other CBD products, CBD edibles do not contain THC. That means you won’t experience any psychoactive effects nor will you feel ‘high’.

Now that that’s out of the way, let’s dig in!

CBD Edible Gummies

Arguably the most popular type of CBD edibles, gummies generally contain between 5 and 30 mg of CBD, can be vegan, and are available in a range of flavours and shapes.

Here at CBD VAPE 4 U, our favourite product is Love Hemp’s CBD-infused sugar-free gummy bears. What’s not to love? All the flavours are natural and fruit (you’ll get lemon, strawberry, and orange in the bottle) and each serving (which is 2 gummy bears) is 10 mg.

Teas

Here in England, we love a cuppa. And, with CBD-infused teas, a cuppa just got 10 times better.

Online, we currently stock 8 different types of My Growing Company’s loose leaf tea. While all of the teas contain 50mg per serving, each contains different infusions, from rosebud to lemon peel.

To prepare these teas, boil some water and let the leaves steep for about 12 minutes.

Capsules

Capsules are of course considered edibles because they’re taken orally but unlike the other two types on this list, no flavour will come through when you ingest these.

Capsules are no-fuss, even more so than CBD oil which itself is easy-to-use. Generally, first-time users start with a lower dose and increase slowly until they find their ideal dosage. Online, our products range from 300mg-750mg soft gel capsules. We recommend consuming these with a big glass of water and you should expect to feel the effects within 45 minutes.

Where can I buy CBD edibles in the UK?
